West Berkshire Sands Gathering Goes Well

West Berkshire Sands are a charity dedicated to the awareness of Stillbirth and Neonatal Death.
The charity asked for some cobbles for people to write names on for their gathering in memory of all the children lost.
Rivar Sand and Gravel couldn't have been happier to donate some cobbles to this local charity who are do great work. The the reason for the donation of the stones was due to a larger than expected (from what we were told) gathering of people who came from all over to write lovely messages on the cobbles for all those that have been lost.
We were happy to help the charity as this is a fantastic idea and we hope that it continues to grow each year as it seems this year's was a great success.
Since the gathering, we have received a lovely picture of the some of the cobbles which are being kept in boxes while the charity tries to find a memorial garden.
All together the gathering filled three full boxes and this one below. Some lovely thoughts clearly went out for the children who have been lost.
It's also great that so many were able to receive continued support through the togetherness of the gathering.
We were genuinely happy to help in any way we could.
