Darren at our Tadley depot has been very busy building a new shed, and in keeping with our Eco Friends policy he did it using bit’s he had laying around and a little bit of help from his friends!
After the shift of the Tadley depot along to the next plot at Greenacres, Darren was In need of some dry storage and although the move was only 100 foot it didn’t mean it was any less work!
With lots of left over wood from broken pallets he decided to make is own shed to suit his exact needs and got to work. As he started, our new neighbours Wo-Man Cave were intrigued and offered their left over cut offs from their new installations at the site, which meant that Darrens shed was now clad in beautiful composite boards!
Needing some doors for his shed our long term neighbours Foremost Tree Surgeons kindly donated a couple that perfectly suited the job. With only the waterproofing and hardware needing to be purchased the whole job only cost £150.
This is a perfect example of neighbours helping each other out, and puts the mantra reduce, reuse, recycle to very good use, thanks to all our lovely neighbours who we have known for a long time, we are glad we didn’t have to move far away from our original position when the new houses were built!
