Welcome The Christmas Holidays With Mencap

As our chosen charity, Rivar Sand and Gravel like to update you on the goings on at our local Mencap and Christmas just happens to be a busy period. West Berkshire Mencap host a a series of events that are held across various venues throughout December to cater for its staff, clients, people who they support as well as the general public. 

The main focus of this post is to bring your attention to their annual carol service held at St. Nicolas Church Hall on the 15th December where they will be doing readings, singing hymns and a play from the people who Mencap support. The service will begin at 7pm and finish at 9pm and will now include the Mayor's Civic Ceremony.

This will be a great way to show support for the local charity and the people they support on a daily basis while getting into the Christmas mood as well.
