Rivar Sand and Gravel continues to support its local community as part of its company initiative and a part of this programme, the Newbury Rotary Club Boules Tournament is a part of it. Each year, the Newbury Rotary Club hosts a boules tournament in the Market Square for local businesses and community groups to enjoy a fun & competitive day whilst raising funds for Rotary nominated charities: End Polio Now; West Berks Young Carers; Parkinsons UK and many others.
As part of the sponsorship, Rivar Sand and Gravel will be providing five bulk sacks of sharp sand to make the playing area for the competition. The competition begins at 10:30am and finishes at around 4:30pm. You can register yourself to play and help raise money for a great set of charities as well as having a good day out.
