Supporting Dingley's Promise
We were delighted to be able to support the Dingley's Promise charity earlier this year by donating a wheelbarrow!
At Rivar Sand and Gravel we love it when we are able to help out local charities and a few months ago we had the opportunity to help with Dingley’s Promise a wonderful charity that helps children with special educational needs and their families.

Dingley’s Promise do this throughout their centre's across the country, lobbying to bring change that includes SEND children in the important conversations with the decision makers of the country.
Providing training to improve the skills and confidence of early years practitioners and providing consultancy to local authorities to better support SEND children.
We are lucky to have a centre in West Berkshire, providing a friendly nurturing environment including playroom, sensory room and garden areas for forest learning and mud kitchens!
Earlier in the year Dingley’s Promise held a One Upon A Time Gala to raise funds, The 160 guests included supporters, local businesses and partners, family and staff who took part in story book themed events with a delicious 3 course meal.
The evening also included an auction and we were happy to be able to donate a wheelbarrow! This was filled with goodies, we have been told that the winners were very happy with their prize!!!
The Gala raised a whopping £23,000 towards the vital work of Dingley’s Promise and we look forward to hearing more about this charities good works!
