- Does your property’s exterior need rejuvenating?
- Do you want to escape from the uniform look of every driveway in your road?
- Have you moved in to a new property with a piece of lawn and a flowerbed but want more?
- Would you like some friendly experts to tell you about the best products and landscaping materials?
No problem. Here at Rivar Sand and Gravel we are well informed, conversant about new developments in the landscaping materials world and we stock the most popular and exquisite products. We also love what we do.
We work hard for you and to maintain our outstanding reputation. You’ll meet local professionals who know their subject well. We strive to deliver a product that meets functional and aesthetic needs and often exceeds them.
When you ask us a question we can normally answer it on site, we don’t need to refer everything back to the manufacturer. That makes your experience with us better and we like that.
One of our favourite landscaping materials is Indian sandstone, a natural paving. It is ethically sourced sandstone that cannot be reproduced.
Sandstone is crafted over centuries by Mother Nature so it’s impossible that your sandstone paving is the same as any other placed around the globe.
Indian sandstone paving can be sourced in traditional slabs, circles, octagons and Aztec circles so it can provide a feature or melt in to the planting areas. Delicious tones, inviting patterns and cost effective, we can’t recommend Indian sandstone enough.
- Modak Indian sandstone features reds and browns predominantly and it will compliment almost any garden scheme.
- Indian sandstone in mint is refreshing and the colour palate is lighter than the Modak Indian sandstone option.
- Artisan Mirage in York Green can be used indoors and outside so why not use it in a conservatory and in the garden?
- Indian sandstone in Castle Grey is expertly hand-picked, cut and riven to enhance its appearance. Perfect for a traditional setting in which it will lead the eye towards planting or a focal point.
Driveway chippings are excellent to compliment paving. They are full of character.
Here are a few examples from the wide range of textures, sizes and colours that we are proud to stock.
- Thames Valley Flint is one of the most enduring landscaping materials so it’s an exemplary driveway chippings option. Moonstone’s black, white, brown and grey shades work together in a 10mm or 20mm size and its cost is wonderfully tempting. What more could you ask for?
- If you’ve chosen the rich tones of Modak Indian sandstone we think that you’ll enjoy using Cheshire Pink Gravel which features the same colours or South Cerney Gravel for a contrast path or driveway chipping.
- Another popular driveway chipping which offers pizazz is the exquisite 20mm Flamingo Gravel. Comprised of blue, green, pink and white chips it will last for several years and bear the weight of vehicles and pedestrians well.
