The festive season gives us the perfect opportunity to plan a new look for our exterior spaces. Do you crave landscaping materials inspiration to enliven a driveway, courtyard, path or communal space? Are you hoping to create a new dining, entertaining or relaxation area? You’ll find all that you need at our Tadley garden centre.

In 2018, our experienced team will help you make your landscaping visions become a reality, whatever your tastes, purpose and budget. Select one enchanting landscaping material or combine and contrast with a variety of textures, colours and finishes.

Your garden, whether it’s urban, traditional, contemporary, zen or a few pots on a balcony, is there to be enjoyed every day of the year. Consider it as another room in your property and make the most of your landscaping materials choices.

You may want to lay a low maintenance, sophisticated and value for money path and decided that gravel was a possibility but fear cheerless options with little personality. You’ll be delighted to learn that our Tadley garden centre has products in almost every colour of the rainbow, locally and internationally sourced, from Cheshire Pink to Green Basalt to White Dolomite, which sparkles thanks to its quartz content.

Cheshire Pink is a 20mm rounded gravel with captivates onlookers with its reds, plums, russets, greys, purples and browns. It’s warming and always attracts praise.

For the more traditionally minded, there are rich browns, cream and buff to yellow tones to incorporate in to a design. Think of South Cerney Gravel or Toffee Gravel, both are locally quarried.

Perhaps you favour paving but have fallen out of love with paving slabs which mirror the overcast winter skies. Natural paving in landscaping materials from around the globe offers versatility, finesse, aesthetic joy and functionality.

You have the choice of Indian sandstone, granite, limestone, wood effect finishes, porcelain and travertine paving, to highlight just a few options.

Here are two examples available from our Tadley garden centre:

  • Raj Green Gardenstone sandstone paving is of an outstanding quality, delivers an elegant finish, has welcoming colours and timeless appeal. Project packs cover 19.2 metres squared and feature mixed slab sizes.
  • Silver petrous premium porcelain from Global Stone’s Trento range is a firm favourite with garden designers, landscapers and homeowners. Expertly crafted paving slabs in 450m x 900mm can be used indoors and outside for continuity and are hard wearing with a sublime appearance.

Other landscaping materials which add to the natural appeal of an exterior are landscaping bark, turf, pebbles, cobbles and setts.

A bulk bag of FSC approved landscaping bark is perfect for woodland concepts and it can create a fairy-tale path to a children’s playhouse. Pebbles around a water feature can complete the scene, add to a beach scheme or provide a focal point in a zen garden. Fresh smelling vibrant green turf evokes memories of summer and artificial turf delivers a consistent appearance all year round.
