It's all happening at Rivar Sand and Gravel this week!
Graduation, Apprenticeship, new delivery truck, exciting times
This week we have lots of exciting news. Firstly we say a massive congratulations to our yard and sales assistant Matthew Bodin who has successfully graduated from his customer service apprenticeship. Matthew contacted the West Berkshire Training Consortium 18 months ago and they matched him with Rivar Sand and Gravel. Matthew attended college on a day release programme whilst learning the ropes at the Newbury depot and now he is a fully fledged member of the Rivar Sand and Gravel family.

In other news we have a new truck to add to our delivery fleet, our new vehicle is a tipper crane which can carry up to 4 ton of loose material for a tipped delivery, or it can carry 5 bulk bags which can be lifted off by crane. This delivery capability makes this a very versatile vehicle giving us more flexibility for our deliveries.
