Black Limestone Natural Paving

If you’re tired of the landscaping material that you have now then don’t endure it, get creative. We recommend that you install paving which offers a fresh appearance and the optimum elegance.

Removing a patch of grass, concrete slabs, tired gravel or landscaping bark leaves you free to let your imagination play with your outdoor space. It is effectively another room, particularly in the spring, summer and autumn, so please don’t neglect it.

Perhaps you have an area that you’d like to use for socialising and to house a barbeque, you’ll need a firm base for the cooking equipment, an outdoor fridge, seating and a table. Paving is a cost effective, attractive and natural choice. It should complement any garden furniture and there’s an array of paving choices so there will be a material and colour to meet, if not to exceed, expectations.

Concrete is a versatile and inexpensive paving option and for a unique exquisite finish why not investigate the natural paving options offered by us including paving from our own collection and market leaders Global Stone, Bradstone and Stonemarket.

As your mind wanders through the possibilities don’t forget that different materials can be used together with pleasing effect so gravels containing quartz work marvellously with paving that has a quartz shine and landscaping bark’s rich browns can offer a contrast to cream or buff paving. A small courtyard space could boast a small cobbled square with rose hued paving.

Remember, paving comes in several shapes and sizes so don’t fall in to the trap of thinking that square same sized slabs are your sole option.

Here are a few paving products which our team at Rivar Sand and Gravel thinks that you’ll enjoy.

Indian sandstone paving is charming and it can be laid in a traditional format or in specially supplied circles. Every slab is naturally unique and ethically sourced.

The warm and subtle tones that Modak sandstone paving offers will take the chill out of a winter’s day and enhance the sunlight in summer. The circles offer additional personality and are produced in various sizes.

A Global Stone Indian sandstone circle comprised of three circles and a centre stone with a diameter of 2.8 metres makes an ideal focal point for a patio area. If you have a small courtyard it can provide a vibrant and solid, low maintenance solution.

Another natural material that we wholeheartedly recommend is Travertine. The antiqued paving in warm walnut in 400mm x 600mm slabs has reds and plums in it which add to its vivacity. Travertine can be used in the exterior and interior spaces so you can employ the same paving for continuity. We supply this Global Stone product in 7.68 metres squared project packs.
