USAGE OF SHARP SAND
Sharp Sand is available from all three depots at Newbury, Tadley and Windlesham. The Sharp sand Rivar used is land based rather than sea dredged. We deliver Sharp Sand daily either in bulk bags (or jumbo bags as they can be known) or we can loose tip the material if bigger quantities are needed.
We deliver Sharp Sand across Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and beyond. The typical grading for Sharp Sand is 0/4mm and our product is to the required industry standard.
Sharp Sand in 25kg bags are also available from all of our depots for collection or delivery. The colour of Sharp Sand can vary but typically the colour in our depots is yellow or a very pale yellow/grey.
Sharp Sand can be used in combination with horticultural grit to break up soil and improve drainage. People do use normal sharp sand for this but we can supply horticultural sharp sand which may be better for this application.
