Delivery

Rivar Sand & Gravel have a range of vehicles to suit your delivery needs. We offer both a loose tip and bag delivery service. The Cabstar will carry up to 1.5 tonnes, this small tipper will get into most small domestic driveways. It is not much bigger than an average estate car.

 

The next tipper size will carry up to 4 tonnes as a full load. To get onto a site it will need access of 9 feet and an area to turn in. 

 

Our 10 tonne lorries can loose tip material but are also mounted with cranes to off load bulk bags or pallets of paving etc. If you need a delivery on these lorries please measure your site access. Ideally the lorries need an 11 feet access and room to manoever. The lorries are a very similar size to a skip lorry.

 

When looking to book a crane off delivery please remember the following:

The crane arm will operate a maximum of 12 feet parallel to the side of the vehicle. Bulk bags and pallets are typically only lifted over a maximum of a 4 feet wall or fence. Much higher than this and we can get the items over the obstacle, but not down on the other side.  

 

If you are still concerned that our vehicles will not get into your site or you only want a small amount of material then you are more than welcome to collect from our depots.

 

When Do We Deliver?

All our vehicles deliver on a daily basis Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. We will be able to give you a set day for your delivery and try to let you know if it is likely to be morning or afternoon. However we are unable to do timed deliveries as traffic congestion can get too bad for us to guarantee arriving at a set time.

Typically we need 3 - 4 days notice for a delivery during the spring and summer months, although sometimes we can deliver at shorter notice.

 

 

Refund Policy

1.When an item(s) has been supplied to a customer from stock and is returned for a refund, then a 25% re-stocking charge of value of returned goods will be made. Proof of purchase will be necessary before a refund will be given and the goods must be in the same conditioned as supplied.
 
2.If an item(s) has been ordered to a customers specific requirement, then it will not be possible to offer a refund on any goods returned.
 
3.Customers wishing to have goods collected from site for a refund will be subject to a collection charge in addition to a re-stocking fee.
 
4.Damaged goods will be replaced like for like subject to RSG being informed within 28 days and a proof of purchase being supplied.
 
5.Refunds will be actioned with the same method of payment as originally tendered.
