Stone and Gravel Products

We offer you a professional and friendly service with a wealth of experience, you can trust us to ensure that your landscaping project will achieve your objectives.

Stone and gravel suppliers like us know that there is no other landscaping contender when it comes to ease of installation, versatility and cost effectiveness.

Clients don’t always have a fortune to spend on landscaping materials and stone and gravel offer a solution that rejuvenates an exterior space within a short time and with no great skill required.

Gravel can be situated virtually anywhere around the exterior of a commercial or domestic property for:

  • Paths.
  • Driveways.
  • Patios/terraces.
  • As features.
  • For mulching.
  • Around features.
  • Around drainage.
  • Pond edging.
  • Flowerbed/vegetable patch edging.

As winter steadily draws on (and on) it’s the perfect time to think creatively and inject a new texture or colour in to your exterior space in preparation for the hours when you can laze outside and barbeque to your hearts content. Getting the hard landscaping done now means that you can spend more time relaxing later. That’s another bonus, it’s low maintenance.

Just a few hours spent installing a new gravel product from our extensive range will alter a space’s character. For example, if you have a grey stone path now and crave colour so that your stone and gravel reflects your contemporary tastes then you have pinks, greens, turquoises, black, white, browns and buff yellows in differing sizes, shapes and textures to choose from.

If your driveway is currently home to crumbling gravel that has seen far better days, then why not ask us to help you find a more enduring and functional stone and gravel product from our wide selection? You don’t have to settle for weeds, discolouration and a poor performance, there’s a product to suit all needs.

Here are a few of the products which we, as elite stone and gravel suppliers, stock:

  • Cotswold Chippings are a classic choice for a path. For driveways, we’d recommend using South Cerney Gravel in preference to this because it’s a little crumblier. (Some retailers confuse South Cerney Gravel with Cotswold Chippings but we’re not one of them.)
  • 20mm Toffee Gravel is quarried locally and it boasts rich tones. It lasts for several years and can be used for paths, driveways, edging, mulching and around features, without crumbling and with no loss of appeal.
  • Moonstone Gravel, is available in 10mm or 20mm. It’s a mixture of black, white, brown and grey stones. 10mm Moonstone Gravel contains less brown tones so if you’re aiming for a monochrome scheme, this could be your perfect match.
  • Flamingo Gravel is turquoise, pink and white angular shaped 20mm gravel. It contains quartz and glints in sunlight.
  • 20mm Cheshire Pink Gravel is delightfully pink, purple and plum. It has excellent kerb appeal and character.

There are many other choices and Rivar Sand and Gravel’s gravel suppliers in Newbury, Windlesham and Tadley are waiting to help you with your project.
