| 10mm “local gravel”
The gravel local to our Newbury and Tadley depots is a light yellow/brown Thames Valley flint. This material is a good hardwearing gravel ideal for paths and driveways. At Windlesham the local gravel is still a Thames Valley flint but is more of a Toffee brown colour. 10mm gravel is sometimes called pea gravel and is the size of a 20 pence piece.

| 10mm Golden Bertie
A yellow 10mm Thames Valley Flint. Angular in shape and hard wearing.

| 10mm Moonstone
This Thames Valley flint has a distinct black & white appearance to it. A good hard wearing angular flint suitable for drives and paths

| 10mm Pea Gravel
A semi rounded 10mm gravel with a brown overall feel. This gravel with its semi rounded appearance is more a true decorative pea gravel rather than just a 10mm angular chip.

| 20mm Cotswold
Real Cotswold chippings are available in 20mm size from stock. Other sizes of chipping may be available. A classic yellow/buff colour this stone is quite soft and will crush down on a driveway. If you are putting chippings down in a wet area or an area of shade be aware that Cotswold can go green if it gets wet and stays wet.

A 20mm semi rounded gravel with an overall brown appearance. This gravel is not fully rounded like some of the more decorative Scottish or Highland pebbles.

| Blue Slate
Available in 20mm or 40mm size this blue has a plum tinge to it.

| Canterbury Spar
A mix of white red and black chippings, this gravel is quite soft so not very suitable for driveways.

|
| Cotswold Buff
Also known as an Old English Chipping this is not a true Cotswold chipping but is an alternative for a person wishing to have a buff coloured drive. This chipping though not the hardest gravel, does stand up to traffic wear a lot better than real Cotswold.

| Criggion Green
A 14mm angular green granite chip. Very hard wearing.

|
| Derbyshire Grey
A light grey 14mm limestone chipping. Angular in shape.
|
|
|
| Devon Pink
A light pink angular limestone chipping. 14mm in size suitable for drives or pathways.
|
|
|
| Fishstow Red
A 14mm angular red limestone chipping. A hard wearing chip that will be suitable for a driveways.

| Flamingo
A 14mm chipping with white, pink and green patches, together with quartz patches makes this is truly distinctive gravel. More suited to flowerbeds and paths rather than driveways
|

|
| Graphite Grey Slate
Available in 20mm size.

| Green Slate
Available in 20mm or 40mm size.

|
| Henham
A rounded beach pebble with an overall grey colour. Available in 20mm and 40mm

|
| Highland Pebbles
Fully rounded pebbles 20 – 30mm in size with colours ranging from greys, browns, some pink(ish) and blues.

| Ice Blue
This highly decorative gravel is light blue in colour and 8 to 11 mm in size. Ice Blue is recommended for various home and garden projects but is ideal for pathways, flowerbeds and water features.

| Pinky Pebbles
A pinky/plum 20mm gravel with some white quartz chipping in the mix. A semi rouded gravel which is suitable for drives and pathways.

| Plum Slate
Available in both 20mm and 40mm size, this deep plum slate is best suited for pathways and flowerbeds as it does tend to crush down under vehicle traffic.

| Roundenge
A 20mm rounded gravel with an overall brown colour. Suitable for drives and pathways.

|
| Scottish Cobbles
Fully rounded cobbles 80 -100mm in size. Colours are greys and browns.

Fully rounded pebbles 20 – 30mm in size with colours ranging from greys, browns, some pink(ish) and blues.

| South Cerney
Usually supplied as a 10mm or a 20mm down to 5mm gravel. South Cerney is a buff colour and semi rounded. Though not the hardest gravel people who want a buff coloured drive tend to use the 20-5mm gravel as an alternative to Cotswold.

| Summer Oatmeal
A fully rounded orange and yellow pebble. 10 -14mm in size.

| White Cobbles
Smooth and water worn. 40-90mm.
|
|
|
| White Dolomite
Also called White Spa or Nordic Spa this 10mm white chipping has a sparkle of quartz in it. White chippings do tend to show up green algae more than other gravels so are not ideal for areas where they will get wet and stay wet.

| White Pebbles
Smooth and water worn. 20-40mm.
